What is included with a framed print?
Each framed print arrives ready to hang with the photograph professionally mounted, framed, and protected behind premium glazing. Hardware is pre-installed so it can go directly from the box to your wall.
Are the photographs limited editions?
Yes. Every Standard Object photograph is limited to an edition of 50 prints across all available sizes.
Each print is produced to order rather than held in inventory, allowing every piece to be made specifically for its collector. Once an edition reaches 50 prints, it is permanently closed and will not be produced again.
We believe small editions preserve the integrity of each collection while ensuring every work remains intentionally produced rather than endlessly reproduced.
What kind of paper do you print on?
Every photograph is printed on museum-quality archival fine art paper selected for exceptional detail, rich tonal range, and long-term durability. The paper is acid-free and designed to resist fading under normal indoor display conditions.
What materials are used for the frames?
Our frames are crafted from sustainably sourced wood with a clean, contemporary profile designed to complement the artwork rather than compete with it. They are available in carefully selected finishes that suit a wide range of interiors.
Is the glass real glass?
We use premium acrylic glazing rather than traditional glass. It offers excellent optical clarity while being lighter, safer during shipping, and more resistant to breakage.
How should I choose a size?
Larger pieces make a stronger visual statement and work well above sofas, beds, dining tables, or fireplaces. Smaller sizes are ideal for shelves, narrow walls, or gallery groupings. Product pages include sizing information to help visualize each option.
Will the print look exactly like it does on my screen?
We carefully color-manage every photograph for print, but slight variations can occur due to differences in monitor calibration, screen brightness, and ambient lighting within your home.
How long will my print last?
With proper care and normal indoor display, archival pigment prints on museum-quality paper are designed to retain their appearance for decades. We recommend avoiding prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or excessive humidity.
How long does production and shipping take?
Every piece is made to order. Production typically takes a few business days before shipping, and delivery times vary depending on destination. Tracking information is provided as soon as your order ships.
Can I return a framed print?
Because each piece is produced specifically for your order, returns for change of mind are generally not accepted. If your artwork arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect, we'll make it right.
Do you ship internationally?
At this time, Standard Object ships within the United States only.
How should I care for my framed print?
Dust the frame with a soft, dry microfiber cloth and clean the glazing with a non-abrasive cleaner designed for acrylic. Avoid harsh chemicals, excessive moisture, and direct sunlight to preserve the artwork for years to come.
